MUSEUM PASS PROGRAM

Looking for a great day trip?  Try a museum on us!  The Library has expanded its popular museum pass program, which means you get a free pass to visit the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, MA (pass admits 4), the Hancock Shaker Village in Pittsfield, MA (pass admits 2 adults and 2 teens – children 12 and under are always free) or The Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute in Williamstown, MA (pass admits 2 adults and 2 children).

To borrow a Museum Pass, simply stop by our circulation desk with your library card.  Museum passes may be borrowed for two days.  New borrowers need to present a photo i.d. and proof of residency when applying for a library card: a driver’s license and utility bill are typical choices.  New borrowers may apply for a library card any time during our normal hours of operation: Tuesday – Thursday, 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm, Friday, 10:00 am – 8:00 pm and Saturday, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.

Interested in promoting the arts to Stephentown residents?  Consider a donation towards our Museum Pass Program.  Your Museum Pass donation makes it possible for all residents to enjoy free access to surrounding museums.  The typical cost for a museum pass is $100 (annual fee).  Stop by the Library or send a check with “Museum Pass Program” in the memo line to us at P.O. Box 70, Stephentown, NY  12168.

The Monthly Adult Book Discussion Group now meets in the Meeting Room of the Stephentown Memorial Library every 1st Thursday of the month at 1:00 pm.
