MUSEUM PASS PROGRAM Looking for a great day trip? Try a museum on us! The Library has expanded its popular museum pass program, which means you get a free pass to visit the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, MA (pass admits 4), the Hancock Shaker Village in Pittsfield, MA (pass admits 2 adults and 2 teens – children 12 and under are always free) or The Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute in Williamstown, MA (pass admits 2 adults and 2 children). To borrow a Museum Pass, simply stop by our circulation desk with your library card. Museum passes may be borrowed for two days. New borrowers need to present a photo i.d. and proof of residency when applying for a library card: a driver’s license and utility bill are typical choices. New borrowers may apply for a library card any time during our normal hours of operation: Tuesday – Thursday, 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm, Friday, 10:00 am – 8:00 pm and Saturday, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. Interested in promoting the arts to Stephentown residents? Consider a donation towards our Museum Pass Program. Your Museum Pass donation makes it possible for all residents to enjoy free access to surrounding museums. The typical cost for a museum pass is $100 (annual fee). The Monthly Adult Book Discussion Group now meets in the Meeting Room of the Stephentown Memorial Library every 1st Thursday of the month at 1:00 pm.
